How do you spell stupid? (or liar, or prevaricator, or shyster)

UPDATE:  Rush Limbaugh responds in today’s Wall Street Journal:  “Their hoped-for result is to inflame racial tensions. In doing this, Mr. Obama and his advisers have demonstrated a pernicious contempt for American society.”

O-B-A-M-A.  That’s how.

Why, you ask?  Because his campaign released a new anti-McCain ad that would be laughable if it weren’t so stupidly erroneous.  The basic gist of the Spanish language radio ad is that McCain is anti-immigrant.  Don’t bust a gut yet, it gets better.  To make their case, the Obama campaign attempts to tie McCain to Rush Limbaugh, using out of context Limbaugh quotes to do so.  I know, kind of funny and really stupid, right?  Even my sixteen-month-old knows that Rush is a huge nemesis of McCain’s, and frequently takes him task for his stance on illegal immigration and border control.

Kudos to Jake Tapper at ABC for getting this one decidedly right.  Check out his blog at abcnews.com.
